Keyboard Theme

I updated to One UI version 5.1.1 recently, and every since then the keyboard theme stopped working. It happens for every single theme. I can switch to another keyboard (like Gboard) and then switch back, and the keyboard theme shows up again, but then it goes away after a little bit.

I've already submitted an error report to Samsung, but they said they're looking into it and there hasn't been any updates in like a month....

Try clearing system cache.

I tried that (and even resetting keyboard to default settings). Also tried restarting my phone, resetting the theme, and trying out a new theme. Unfortunately none of them worked.

It sounds like the developers need to update the themes for 5.1.1 compatibility. It will probably follow in coming weeks.

We are aware of compatibility issue with keyboard themes from Galaxy Themes, which is affecting Flip devices with One UI 5.1.1 (but not the Galaxy Flip5). We are preparing a software update to resolve the problem, which will be released soon. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I have a Flip 3 and noticed the same, reset everything and noticed that like some other users if you don't close the phone it's okay...not a solution and quite annoying...look forward to the update to fix this

Any updates? This is pretty annoying and it seems like everyone is consistently having this issue. Being able to customize my theme is one of the main appeals of galaxy, it defeats the purpose to have a gray default keyboard

Great news! Update to UI 6.0 fixed the issue!! Keyboard remains as per theme even when phone is closed.
