I have just upgraded to virgin 1ghz Internet speed but my A52 5g only shows network speed 433mps

Hi,
It's possible that 5g is not in your area my daughter had the same issue with virgin when trying to update no 5g
Could always check with virgin to see if 5g is in your area

I have virgin 1giga bit and some don't support wifi 6 so your a52 might not be compatible with 6ghz devices so it makes a slower maybe even on wired devices such as my pc which uses cat 5 I onku 289mbps download compared to 900 on my xbox wireless it's weird that router virgin media WiFi 6 hub 5 6ghz 1gbps yeah I have that and the speeds are different for me every time I test it

please bare in mind that you won't always get your guaranteed broadband speed ever, we're guaranteed 900mbps but we only get around 200. it also depends on how many devices are connected etc. if your looking at the speed in your phones settings, I recommend using speed test from the play store to get a more accurate reading, because my phone tells me I can get 846mbps but speed test tells me 200mbps.

1ghz is for wired devices , when connected to WiFi it's always slower.
I'm currently getting 329 down and 101 upload , Does peak around 650 download sometimes

WiFi speeds will always be slower. WiFi 6 devices will get the best WiFi speeds. My S23 Ultra gets almost 900mb WiFi on my gigabit line and my wired Xbox series X is picking up almost 1.1gb.
