Forgot my phone's pattern lock

I can't unlock my phone using find my phone etc. Didn't have option set. I can't recall the phone pattern. How on earth do I get the hard reset to work?

The flip 5 wont go into hard reset no matter what I do...ie holding down power and volume key up....

Any tips

Not sure if this will work, but try the following -

Connect the phone to a laptop or to usb c earphones.

Press and hold volume down + power key for about 7 seconds. Your phone should restart.

Once the phone restarts (before you see any logo), immediately press and hold volume Up + power key till you see the logo.

If this works and/or you are fast enough, then the phone should enter the repair menu. You can then reset the phone by wiping data.

If nothing works, you may have to contact Samsung Support.
