Factory reset after smart switch

Hi, sorry if this is a silly question.

I've successfully used Smart Switch to copy data from my old phone to my new phone.

The only thing I'm worried about losing is my Samsung Notes. I can see them on my new phone. Have tested deleting a Samsung Note from my old phone and it doesn't seem to have affected the new phone. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance.

Am I now safe to factory reset my old phone without it removing the synced data in my new phone?

you are safe, I recommend turning off sync in samsung cloud settings, I hope you enjoy your new phone
