Samsung Calendar enable CalDAV account sync

Please add the feature to sync the samsung calendar app with CalDAV accounts. Also samsung contacts with carddav accounts. These open standards would be simple to implement relatively speaking and enable a wide variety of account synchronization.

As this was requested in 2020 and now just over 2 years later, can we please have this implemented? Every other calendar app has this feature and 95% of calendars have this feature using it as an alternative to view and manage external calendars. It would be very beneficial as not everyone has Exchange or Google accounts. I love the app, however if it's not doing what I need or intended, a third-party alternative would be necessary. Thanks.

This is a request I would like to see implemented, too. But realistically, why would Samsung do this? Right now, they have access to everyone's contact, to data mine, and sell on. If they enable this feature request, the risk is everyone migrates their contact dB away.
