This was removed because its illegal to record calls without all parties being aware of it

That's the part I don't believe, Samsung & google are lying, google has a notification feature that tells other user that they are being recorded, Samsung can easily do the same, I think it's more of these companies don't want to be held accountable for what they say, it's legal for companies to record us but some how it's illegal for us to record them.
Make it make sense.
One rule for them ( private companies) & another rule for us the (consumers)

Anyway the facility was removed due to privacy/security issues. whilst there are 3rd party apps many will have restrictions. Raised many times, one thread here https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s21-series/uk-phone-usage-restrictions/td-p/5598519

Ok Okay I will just work with it because some of the upset I don't know that my phone record only my voice but not your voice on the other side.
So I just work with it it is what it is
