2 step verification going to old phone number

I got a new phone and new number and can not login to my samsung account because the 2 step verification code goes to old phone number. And I don't have the back up codes.

The link takes me back to the log in page which is daft as, when prompted, I can't log in which is why I need help

This is not on the Samsung website, looks suspicious, be careful.
