My wife is continuing to get in her messages. We can't seem to stop it or block it. Keeps asking to return code.

Yes. Some answers appear to suggest this is a code that allows a download to take place with mallard as a result.

It seems to be the provider/platform of android/googles rcs messager service. The chat feature(s) built into googles chat/messages app.

If you don't use the chat features and just use text messages, you could try turning off the chat feature.
