Have you tried opening Google Play store or the Galaxy store to see if the apps you required are installed on your A53 or if they need to be downloaded or updated? Although I didn't have any issues with my A53.

Apologies for a very basic question, but why on my new A53, when I click on the pre-installed Google folder icon (which indicates there are 9 apps are in it) on the home screen, does it just open a blank screen? I jhave to hit the Home button to close and I'm back where I started. Where are the Google Apps, as I want to drag a shortcut for some of them to the Home screen?

The same happens with the pre-installed Microsoft folder.

Thanks in advance for any help.
