Voicemail notifications

Keep getting voicemail notifications even thou i dont have any when phone restarts. I've cleared the cache and data on the phone and call settings apps but they reappear when the phone autorestarts.

@nickymont: Have you tried calling your voicemail service to see if any voicemails are currently archived, and deleting any relevant messages from here?

Yes there no messages. How would I find out if any where archived.

@nickymont, thanks for checking. To find out whether any messages are archived (perhaps inadvertently), please check the voicemail again and listen for any references to "saved messages."

If you locate and then delete these, the voicemail icon should disappear.

I phoned the voicemail, and on the menu there was option to change notifications. I changed it to alert me via text message, then I changed it back to status bar notifications. After I hung up that symbol FINALLY disappeared!
