Samsung wallet (pay) asking for zip code

Tried to upload my south african bank card on my US bought samsung. It asks for a 5 digit zip code and our zip codes are only 4 numbers long. Does not work with a 0 attached. Any advice ?

Because your phone was meant for the USA market Samsung Wallett (pay) won't work with your South African Bank Card, your easiest option is to open/use a USA Bank Card.

I believe its to do with the csc code, Although I could be wrong..

You may be better off posting this on Samsungs USA forum rather than the UK forum as things may be different over there.

Just a quick post to confirm that you're correct, StuartR. 👍 Wallet and Pay are indeed dependent on the device CSC/intended market.

Use google wallet. Works for every phone and does the same thing. Samsung need to sort this out but they won’t.

I am just trying to set up Samsung wallet and I have the same problem - it's asking for a US ZIP code, which I don't have as I'm in the UK. I find it unbelievable that Samsung haven't found a way around this!

This same issue has been driving me crazy for the past few weeks, it's incredibly frustrating. I can't believe that samsung haven't foreseen this problem.
Why haven't samsung done something to sort this issue out?
Literally stopped the convenience factor of contact less payments.

I have the same issue where i brought mobile in US. What i did is entered all the numeric letters and entered remaining all 000 and it worked.

For ex: my postal code is L5N3K2

Entered 532000 and it worked
