Using the Phone by Google app instead of Samsung default phone app

After using the default phone app on my Galaxy phone I have discovered that The text is smaller and things are in different places compared to the Google phone app Which is prey installed on most android phones. Would I have the same features such as pressing use such as pressing volume up to answer a call sir a call and the power button to end a call you end a call if I use the Google phone app? I am visually impaired and use talkback and dictation to type this sorry if things are repeated for not spelled accurately

you can just download the " phone by Google " app from the (Google) play store.
After downloading and installing set it as default phone app at
settings -> apps-> choose default apps-> phone app.
that should do it

(maybe a better way) almost all things you want to change can be set in the galaxy version.
answering by volume up
phone ->settings-> answering and ending calls

also have a look at all the visual enhancements tabs under settings -> accessibility-> visual enhancements.
(I have a bit bad eyesight as well )
What do you think of the high contrast fonts , I think they made a mistake there (the original colour of the font should not change only a border should have been added, changing the color of the font to the background color just makes it bad) will make a separate post of it.

The Google phone does not work with phone systems with number menus that have to be selected to get through to depts or functions
