Samsung Health duplicating exercises in MyFitnessPal

Exercises recorded in Samsung health duplicate in my MFP diary seemingly at random
There doesn't seem to be any limit on the number of times it will sync.. 48,000 calories burnt in total for me the other day.. I wish!
I've tried different permission options, no luck

I've cleared cache, uninstalled both apps, all up to date.... seriously loosing my sh$t and thinking of changing back to Garmin or Apple.

Anyone got a fix or even a workaround?

Also having the same issue. Just moved from Apple to Samsung 3 months ago and the number of issues I have found so far is ridiculous. I'd expect more from samsung/android...

I had duplication in Samsung Health, so I turned off autodetect of workouts in the watch settings. That solved my problem.

I just got a rowing machine and I used my fitness pal and mine is set to Auto detect workouts on my watch and I'm seeing duplicates of my two workouts and every time I delete one set it keeps coming back.

If I turn off auto detect workouts on my watch will it still show my workout from when I do my rowing machine cuz I wear my watch while I'm doing it

why isn't Samsung tech support not responding to these issues here. mind boggling customer support.

I've been a Samsung guy for years and now looking to switch. ridiculous.

I just had this happen for the 3rd time. I currently have a Galaxy 4 Watch and Samsung Note 20 Ultra. The last time I tried uninstalling everything which is a pain. Seemed to work but here it is happening again. I just tried your suggestion of unchecking AUTO DETECT on watch and it appears to work....thank you!

over a year later has any one found a fix? I'm having the same problem. Myfitnesspal synced great with Samsung for 3 whole days. not exercise gets logged countless times both apps cleared of cache uninstalled and reinstalled still having the same issue. very frustrating!!!

Exactly!!! Apple is kicking Samsung A$$ in customer service. You would think they would respond to an issue as shared as this one.. thinking about going back to Apple~

Yeah Ii stopped waiting a while ago..mine wont even include the calories burnt into the equation anymore (Ive scoured the web for answers but foound none) Samsung should create their own Food diary app, cut Fitness Pal right out because Samsung health on its own work just fine for me. Also the subscription price at FP is outrageous now..I use to have it for 10$ CAD a month..Not willing to pay the price they are asking for now for what I use it for. Why does it seem like all large corporations are declining in Customer service (I can rant about Telus too..lol)

Do you work for Apple? lol, jokes aside they do have a killer product in the 14 pro (as per reviews not personal experience) but I feel like I would be joining the other team. not unlike Lebron going to Miami lol

The same here. Ive just migrate from apple to fold6 e watch ultra. Myfitnesspal data is duplicate everyday and i dont know why.

Hey any update? I didn't even know this ***** was happening. I looked at MFP (im a pro customer), and saw that some days I'd burned 10k calories? Huh?

Anyway on one of the forums apparently if you disconnect S-health, and then re-connect it to MFP from under the "steps" section it seems to fix the issue.

Just did it, Jury's still out, will let you know.

i no longer have this problem. i cant remember what I did to fix it but what you said sounds familiar.

my issue now (lol) is that my Samsung watch 5 pro starts a workout when I'm driving even though I have disabled auto detect workout.

running at 100km/hr? move over Mr Bolt there's a new king in town. I will be selling my watch since that is the only real feature I need on it, I don't use it for any other of the cool things it can do and I pay 10$/mnth for nothing for the extra account on my phone provider..wasted money. Ill be getting a fit bit or something else that just counts energy expenditures.
