Using Smart Switch from 2 different devices

I have 2 old mobile phones and I want to transfer the photographs from both of the phones to my new Samsung S21.

I have already transferred photographs from phone 1 to the S21, but would like to ask am I also able to use Smart Switch to transfer the photographs from phone 2 without overwriting the photographs I have already transferred from phone 1.

Yes you are able to do that. Its exactly the same process on Smart Switch as you used for your other Samsung phone 😊

It's a good question that... I'm certain it doesn't overwrite. When you smart switch data... its copying data... not moving... so after you smart switched from phone 1... if you haven't erased it then worse case scenario you still have it on phone 1 as a back up.

I would recommend copying to a PC or hard drive just as extra backup... or to a cloud service... personally, I've never liked cloud services.
