I don't want to move to Microsoft OneDrive

I really don't want to link my phone's files to my OneDrive account because my laptop is often used by kids and at University. I don't want to go back to iPhone either so I'm wondering what are some other decent brands of android phone that are easy to use?

Samsung closed down their own cloud service, and it seems they done some sort of deal with Microsoft as a backup facility. This suggests to me that it is not a "closed" backup service, and instead of backing up to OneDrive, you can also perform backups to other services, such as Box, Google Drive, etc. Probably, if you search online, somebody has figured out how to change the backup service away from OneDrive, and redirect it to an alternative of the user's choice.

I have same problem. I just want photo gallery on my Samsung phone to sync with photo gallery on my Samsung tablet. I use Google Photos to back up.

I don't want to complicate my life by being forced to use Microsoft One drive.

What's up Samsung? You are not content enough with me just buying your products?
