Hi all

In the last 24 hrs my watsapp has run into an issue. I can receive pics and videos bit they do not appear in my gallery.

When in a chat If I attempt to send a photo I cam see them all but when selected it says file format not supported.

I even tried to take a photo when in a chat but it says Same thing.

There are no updates, my date and time seem fine, media visibility on. Any other suggestions please?

Hi @Chigs, could you go in to WhatsApp > 3 Dots on top right > Settings > Storage and data > Media auto-download, and check if the images are set to auto download?

Can you also try this: Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Storage > Clear cache, and restart the phone? Let me know if this makes a difference.

If none of them suggestions work I would try to back up the WhatsApp account to your Gmail Drive, delete WhatsApp App and reinstall it from Google playstore then restore your backup during setup.
