I have had my phone for less than a month I can't call or receive calls downstairs only flat even tho I have wife and data really ANNOYING

You have a weaker antennae in the new phone then, apart from leaving the phone by an outside wall away from a door or window it can be grabbed through, you have two options. Send it back and get a different phone, or change network to one with a stronger signal to begin with
