Not able to edit contacts

After the new update I haven't been able to edit my contacts. It freezes up to the point where I have to close the app then get an error says that the phone isn't working to close or wait. All it says or shows is history but nothing shows up. Please let me know what I need to do to fix this.

Hi @jschu

Are you still having this issue? Is the software on your phone up to date? Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Also, try a soft reset on the phone. This will end all processes and give the phone a fresh start. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power keys at the same time until the phone switches off and back on again.

No additional errors show up. And phone was just updated to the current version a few days prior. I don't feel like doing a reset because I have all these apps on my phone I don't want to loose.

@jschu: The Soft Reset won't delete any apps or personal data, and will simply refresh the phone's software. If you attempt the steps above, does the issue persist?
