I wish the translation of the AI had more translat. I want to use the Dutch language (Netherlands) in the A.I. translation system. I look forward to seeing developments from you guys. #TheAITranslat.

We are looking forward to the new update for new languages especially Dutch and Farsi languages for S24 series.

Samsung Internet translator got replaced by the GalaxyAI translator and now we can't translate from Dutch or any unsupported language.
This was previously possible with the non AI translator in Samsung Internet.
We need new languages fast.

I just do not understand why they deleted it?? I used to use Dutch, French and German all the time because despite being native Dutch and having learned the languages, I sometimes still struggle. German and French are still there! It simply does *not* make any sense??

But really Samsung not to include a Dutch version of the A. I translations

Hey Anthony, welcome to the Galaxy family 🖤 You surely aren't unimportant to Samsung! That's why the Dutch language is scheduled to be implemented in Galaxy AI later this year as a language pack. Meanwhile other parts of Galaxy AI already support the Dutch language, such as the summarize function in Samsung Internet.

When I bought my Galaxy S24 Ultra right from the start they said that Dutch would be available by the summer and now it's postponed to "somewhere later this year". Thats a joke, right?

Hi @BarbaravdM, Samsung has stated from the beginning that Dutch will be available as language pack for Galaxy AI later this year. This hasn't changed, so it's not a postponement. "By Summer" was the interpretation of some people, but this has never been Samsung's statement in regards to the Dutch language pack.

So it's gonna be december then? By that time my phone is already more than a year... if Samsung has announced that more clear, I would have waited for the S25 Ultra, instead of paying a lot of money for a phone that can't be fully used, when you're Dutch...

Last I've heard, the scheduled release is Q42024, which could be as early as October or as late as December. If you count on December, it can only be a pleasant surprise should it arrive sooner 😉

Hahaha you know how to deliver a disappointing message. Samsung hired the right man for the job. I d rather have them hiring people who work on the Dutch language pack before they sold expensive phones with fake promises. 😉

Thank you for your message. The thing is that they are building the Dutch language package from the ground-up. Galaxy AI have to last a lot years so they are trying to do it right. Sadley this takes up time, but when it arrives we can enjoy it for a long time. Thank you for your patience.

And again, no hard promisses, no planning, no comparison to other things, no samsung... i had dutch as a languagepack, with a release came AI and you removed! Dutch... now we are waiting the whole year to get the language back again.... samsung is not scoring points, again and again, failure after failure.... also if this message is not clear or there are spelling mistakes... add the language pack!!!

We are working hard to get as many languages available on Galaxy AI as possible, but there are a lot of languages and it takes some time.

I really hope so, because of Bixby. It still can't speak Dutch! They never deliver on the promise of the Dutch language, despite their many assurances.
