I am using the Samsung products, not only phones, even other products, for so many years, but i am now getting tired of the phones asking , almost, maybe not every day but, every 2-3 days asking updates.... too much, come on... not even iphone gives so much disturb..... eventually gonna change because it's clear that there is no organization in the mode the updates are made... too many, updates and to often.

which updates are you talking about? From Apps Store (Google Play or Galaxy Store)?

if you are talking about System updates, you should keep in mind that they are sent about one per month for flagship devices and are released to fix security issues and to keep your device completely safe.

I'm also fed up with so many updates I have the same phone as my partner! Last update was end of October and now they want to update again 11th November this is a compleat joke! Soon as my contract ends I'm switching to another company!

As indicated in the thread by our Superuser danitudi971, if you are talking about System updates, are released to fix security issues and to keep your device completely safe.

I think peoples issue is, it looks like samsung just keep getting it wrong and having to add things. I know samsung like to market this as a plus, but you can understand why it annoys people and makes the product look like it was released without adequate testing

My phone asks for updates every 2 days and I am sick and tired of having to update it every so often. I understand they are for updates to security bugs and such,but I honestly think its the same update every single time. Why does my phone need to be updated evert 2 days. I honestly think se phones come with this issues of wanting to be updated every 2 days or so while some of the same brand are without this bug. Because it is a bug or a system defect. 2 days for an update is not upgrading anything but a software defect. Uber annoying

These update prompts are really annoying me too, just about every day it seems.
The one I'm looking at now: One UI vers: 6.1, Android 14, Version: A556BXXS4AXH4.
Seriously, how often do you think I should be getting such update prompts?

Bear in mind that the Galaxy S20 Fe was marketed in 2020. Therefore, if it has never been used before, it must carry out all the updates in order, up to the latest one released.
