Just got a S26 Ultra - how do I transfer data in the Secure Folder from my S24U to S26U?

During setup, it will offer you to transfer. Or if you missed it, use Smart Switch.

NOTE: WhatsApp won't move over. Back up chats beforehand.

For me it has never worked properly, best to export media out.

Whatsapp- top right 3 dots- settings- Chats- Chat backup- click backup. Do this right before setting up

I've just realized you've said "secure folder." As mentioned, you would be better off exporting media.

This took me a few steps before I was able to get it to transfer the secure folder properly. I'm not sure if all of these steps are necessary, but it is what worked for me.

On both devices open the secure folder> menu> settings> Auto lock secure folder> set it to 30 minutes or on reboot. This will make sure the folder does not lock and restrict access while you are trying to transfer.
Make sure your new device has done any system updates that it wants to.
Reboot both devices
Open and unlock secure folder on both devices (make sure you leave them unlocked.
Open Smart switch on both devices (I used a usb cable for the transfer)
Once you are at the screen to select the data to transfer select Custom > Apps > deselect all apps and you should be able to select just the secure folder now.
Hit transfer and all of your fun pictures should move over into the secure folder on your new phone.
