I downgraded from S20 to S25.

I bought S25, and for my use this is downgrade from S20. S25 has worse display, worse speakers and no SDXC card slot.

S20 has super sharp display (1440x3200). After using it for 5.5 years, I can't stand looking at the blurrier screen on S25. My S20 has a very large memory card too to store files. And, the battery seems to drain just as fast on both phones.

Half a decade old S20 is superior to S25. S25 shouldn't be called a 'galaxy' or 'galaxy' should be rebranded as mid-tier. What is Samsung thinking here?

Welcome to the community forum.

Have you changed the screen resolution on Settings -> Display -> Screen resolution?

The S25 has lower resolution, but it should not look blurry. SD cards have gone from most manufacturer. Sony is one the few remaining, if not the only one left on the high end phones market.

Battery drains very quickly on the initial stage. The phone is on a learning phase, but once this is over the battery has a very decent performance. How long have you had the S25 for?

Galaxy phones range from the low, mid and high end, e.g. Galaxy A 17 5G, Galaxy A56 5G, S25 Ultra

Hi @NominalName Welcome to the Samsung Community 😀As indicated have you experimented with the Screen Resolution Settings ,the highest though available is FHD+. May not be as impressive in that regard though you were limiited to 60 Hz refresh rate on the S20 at QHD.

Should still notice the difference with processing speed ,efficiency and the S25 has peak Brightness of 2600 nits (more than Double your earlier model).

However you may have been better with the S25 Plus though maybe you prefer compact Devices.

It will be Settings-Display-Screen Resolution.

Same even my Samsung galaxy S8+ plus had better visuals!
The only reason I bought the Samsung s25 was because the S8+ did not have any software updates from android 9 and my apps were no longer supporting it.
Otherwise the Samsung s8+ is a much better phone.😀
