Tries to update ny S23 Ultra today and it did work using Smart Switch. Files downloaded to PC but when done phone to Screen that Reboot Device D114 Hold Power Button to Seven Seconds to reboot, phone turns off. Turn phone back on Smart switch wants to do recovery but does not. Tried to go to Recovery Menu and on have 3 Choices Reboot, Reset, Turn off.

Checked software and it shows latest S918USQS7EC1

It says on March 5, 2026 Security

Phone seems to be working except it will not go into recovery mode with full menu.

I give up ! Any Idea! have not reset phone.

Also smart switch still thinks it needs update. Run update same thing happens.

Full menu has been removed. Go to maintaince mode then recovery

More Info on my problem.

This phone Samsung S23 Ultra SM-S918U was purchased from AT&T paid off unlocked and Switched to Visible. For the last year I have been updating it using Smart Switch and all updates have gone through ok. This week tried it and It download update but would not load to phone. Phone came up with screen that showed D114 Reboot device. Did that and Smart Switch showed Update Failed and do recovery. Tried recovery and said Recovery timed out. The phone says on S918USQ7EZC1 which is the latest. Tried Smart Switch again and says again it needs update even though old currant software and new the same. Same results. Found out the Phone when put into recovery only shows 3 option Reset,Boot,Shutdown.

Any suggestions,

btw the phone so far seems to be working.

Smart Switch will not connect in Maintenance Mode. Any other ideas?
