Back cover pushing out

I just bought a new case for my S23 and noticed as I was putting the new one on that the back cover panel is sticking out slightly (see pictures).

I'm assuming this is battery expansion, which also explains the poor battery life I've had the last few months.

Does anyone know what I can do about this or if/how I can get in touch with Samsung about this sort of thing?

This bothers me a lot as well as the battery life and other bugs that have been popping up, like widgets not loading and the lockscreen notifications clashing with the Fingerprint scanner (see my previous post).

That looks like the battery has become damaged and has inflated. Be careful as it's not very safe having it like that

You will need to replace the battery on the device.
The battery has reached a point that its starting to degrade and starts to expand.
Personally I'd stop using it and look at getting it replaced ASAP
Also the water resistance of the phone has now been compromised
You can get a third party repair done. But I'd recommend getting Samsung repair agent to do this. You will get official parts and a warranty for the work.
Plus you will get some of the water resistance back as well
