Hi, yes, that's the one. I have seen many others have raised the issue. I have followed all suggestions & cannot get rid of it.

I just did my own research from posts. I did try to clear the data and cache for the samsung keyboard in tbe list of system apps, and it worked... for one or two attempts... and then it came back again.

It seems to believe there are new emojis... and some have a blue dot above them. However these blue dots dont disappear when using them.

I suspect it is a minor bug and may be resolved later.

I have to say though, this really doesnt bother me and doesnt affect any usage. Does it really bother you ?

Hi

The blue dot apparently means that if you long press on that emoji other options appear, I tried it and that does seem to be the case.

I find notifications I cannot remove are annoying.

There used to be a Samsung Keyboard app but I guess the keyboard is incorporated in the software now?

If you reset data of keyboard, the red dot will reappear because you have reset all settings and all added emoji will appear as new, then it is enough to open all those emoji with the red dot and the dots will disappear.

After much deliberation ZF7. But, very much miss the S PEN. Hopefully Samsung will re establish S PEN going forwards. If not, then what will be will be. In the end I decided if S PEN is gone for good, then rip the plaster off now and get used to life with no S PEN. If I still yearn for an S PEN, it's either AMAZON for 3rd party version (which is not a patch on S PEN ) , or, I will change to S25 or S26 (if it has S PEN).

Time will tell. 😁 😁 😁

On another issue with Z FOLD 7, with the inner larger screen, when using SAMSUNG EMAIL, one could have the email list on the left, the the full email showing on the right. Now, there is a setting in the email app to enable in landscape mode only. Any idea if this is a bug or intentional?

I had the same problem after the one UI 8 update. I tried few thing but only one of them worked and idk how. I just went into settings >General management >Samsung keyboard settings >reset to default settings > reset keyboard settings.

I have reported to Samsung with phone logs and they say they are investigating but no response yet. May be raise a fault as I have done and they might listen if more people complain. Cheers.

Try reset keyboard settings in general management, it did fix mine.

If that doesn't work, try this.

Click emoji button with the orange dot

Click into AI stickers tab

Click on plus to create new sticker

Scroll horizontally through the sticker types (doodle, illustration, etc)

Click on "View All"

Excellent, result! So I had to make sure all emoji & avatar and AI settings were enabled. Then I followed your process as above and it worked.

In the Vew All section there were so emoji/ avatar with orange dots so it seems as though Samsung Keyboard is trying to notify about these new options. Unless one follows your process then one wouldn't know this.

Anyway, thanks for you help, much appreciated.
