Battery drain

My A56 is 4 months old and the battery has started to drain rapidly, overnight it goes from 100% to 60% for example. I can't find a reason for this and have done all troubleshooting except a factory reset, can anyone offer any solutions?

Sorry to hear of your concerns.

However when members say they have tried all troubleshooting, they usually haven't.

What have you tried so far please you save us posting and you there saying done that.

I have reset battery stats, wiped cache partition, used all power savers, put airplane mode on,put apps to sleep.

Maybe it's just transient. Try using your phone in safe mode and see if there is any app draining more battery.

In safe mode the camera app doesn't open, is this normal? Could the drain issue be due to the one ui 8 update, I see some info online about this.

Had a remote diagnostic check with Samsung and everything passed, only things to check were a few settings, wifi on but suggested should be off, think this must be an one ui 8 issue so how would a factory reset help?

Is the problem solved now go to settings apps, Google play services and update if its available, and put Spotify in Deep sleep mode

No luck, no update available and apps all in sleep mode, this was last night in airplane mode with WiFi and Bluetooth off.
