A neighbour gave me a Samsung A14 phone that had FRP that couldn't get past as daughter had forgotten login.. I factory reset and then used frija and Odin to flash.. Odin reported success etc and phone display went from download to blank.. thought would reboot at this point but still waiting 😃.. Dead, black screen no sign of life.. battery may have been low when did flash, not sure, but as download screen was on till Odin said success assume getting power from usb if not battery.. charged for 12 hours, tried power up down buttons thing.. nothing.. still dead.. any ideas before I throw it away..

Connect to PC -> get cable for EDL (emergency download mode) -> figure out how to use it -> flash -> RIP warranty -> knox ☠️ -> reboot every 7.5 hrs with tasker -> be happy

Are you really asking this samsung site how to break into a locked samsung phone that was 'given to you'?

yes, if I had stolen it I would probably be an expert with no need for advice; but I am not asking how to bypass anyway, I did that with samsung software and firmware downloaded from samsung, funny that..
