Samsung Music Queueing

I’m writing to express my growing frustration with the current design and functionality of Samsung Music.

Queueing: The “Add to bottom” or “Add to top” options are misleading. The behavior depends entirely on the current position of the song rather than giving me actual control over where the song goes in the list.

Sorting: I can’t simply invert how songs play or easily adjust the playback order. If I want to listen to songs in reverse order, I have to manually reorder them

Playlist Creation: If I select songs in a certain order and add them to a playlist, they should appear in that exact order—not be rearranged arbitrarily by the app.

Data Loss: On multiple occasions, playlists have simply vanished without explanation. After a period of time, they become non-existent.

I use Samsung Music because I prefer an offline, straightforward player, but these limitations make it feel unnecessarily clunky and unreliable.

I prefer Samsung Music, its got clean UI, And I neve have any problem with playlists etc, maybe try resetting Apps data and try again.

i reset app data but nothing changed. my problem is there is no ascending or descending sorting options in the playlist. doing that 1 by 1 is quite tedious on my larger playlists.

As you can see in the picture, There's an option called 'NAME', this is ascending order, and you cpuld change it to descending order as well wuth a bit of a tweak

Yes, but look at it, its overwhelming, Samsung has made this App clean and polished, thats why applying abstraction is better option

that's a fair point. it is quite messy. spotify did it better though. here's an example. all you have to do is click the same option again and it inverts the sorting method selected before. the devs can just make it an option in settings to have the extra sorting methods visible or not.

Samsung has tried to design apps very simply, and this is a problem from one perspective and a good thing from another.
Many people love features and love being able to customize everything the way they want, and all companies consider this in their apps so that the user can behave the way they want, but Samsung has really taken this opportunity away from the user by simplifying many things and, unlike the operating system, has poorly defined default apps such as movie playback, music playback, store, keyboard, contacts and calls, etc.
I suggest replacing these apps with another app that is much better and more powerful until Samsung thinks about these apps because the number of people who are dissatisfied with the superficial features is much higher than those who are satisfied.
