I have a Samsung Galaxy at the moment, was thinking of buying a Google Pixel only if I can transfer all my data and games that I play to a different brand

Yes you can, I think most phones have a way to transfer data from one to another when you set them up nowadays, but Samsung, Pixel and Apple have this feature for sure.

Either get smart switch on the new pixel or try android native copy function.
