Thanks for your welcome John. It's apparently a known issue with only some A & S series devices, hence the reluctance by Samsung to admit it's a problem. My 6 year old Sony phone has a perfect SMS display on the car' screen 😊

Link to car's screen. The contacts, last calls and music options work okay ,but the option to display messages isn't listed so no texts are displayed. The Samsung help desk advised that it's a known consumer A series and S series phones but will not recognise or admit it's an issue 😑

5 weeks on from purchasing my A56 5G and Samsung has replaced the original device, but the problem persists: the option to didply SMS text messages remains absent from the options available, when connected by bluetooth to the car's infotainment screen. As before, music, recent calls, and all my contacts' details appear perfectly. Can anybody please suggest a resolution or is a social media broadcast likely to catch Samsung's PR departments attention? The car is not equipped with Android Auto. Thanks in anticiption.

Has anyone else experienced issue and if so what is the solution? The Samsung 'technical' help desk has no answers so where do I go to get help?
