All is good, if you have Samsung Find enabled on your device, you can go to the Samsung Find website on a separate device (https://smartthingsfind.samsung.com/login), sign into the account used on your locked device, then select the 'Unlock' button from the left-pane menu.

Similarly, if you had Google FindMy enabled, you can go to the FindHub website (https://www.google.com/android/find/), sign in with the Google account used on the device then unlock.

There's no unlock within google find btw. Samsung removed the unlock feature from it's find system years ago. You cannot remote unlock a phone.

Would be handy if it was, feel free to have a look and correct me if I'm totally wrong

There isn't a way to get past it. Kinda only option is to reset the device by using the recovery menu. Make sure you know your google login details, after a forced reset you will be required to login to the same account that was originally on the device

Yeah as prior to what @arianwen27 said, it seems all you can do is factory reset.

what if i know the password i just can't enter it due to screen issues, is there a easy way i can cast the screen onto my laptop without needing to unlock it ?

If you have an older phone, you can connect a usb mouse to the phone and use that. If your phone is on one ui 7 or higher, you can't do this.

If you can't do it, your only option is probably to get your screen repaired. Or at least ask a repair shop to fit a screen, take the data off, then put your bad screen back on

i was thinking of doing that same mouse thing but i wasn't sure if it would work, so i didn't wanna go out and buy it. cause ik phones can sometimes stop usb devices while locked

Please dont pass incorrect information. There is no such way to unlock the device now. It used to be there few years ago
