A35 / No updates after February 2025

Why is my Samsung Galaxy A35 (SM-A356E) not receiving any security updates after February 2025?

I recently updated my Galaxy A55 with both the March and April 2025 security patches, but my A35 hasn't received either of them. Is there a reason for this delay? Or do I have to do something special?

The A55 gets monthly updates. The A35 is on quarterly updates, which means it may be up to 3 months between updates.

As @ukraina2 has said the A35 is only elegible to receive quarterly security updates. You can check the frequency of security updates for your device here https://security.samsungmobile.com/workScope.smsb

Yeah, that’s weird. The A35 should still be getting updates. Could just be a regional rollout delay sometimes updates hit different models or areas at different times. You could try checking manually in Settings > Software Update, or use Smart Switch on a PC. If nothing shows up, maybe reach out to Samsung support just to be sure.

It's still getting updates as the phone was released last year. Its eligible for up to 5 years of security updates. Now that it's 2025, its got another 4 years left.But it's on quarterly security updates. But it shouldn't really cause concern in terms of security. As it's still on February, update. It'll have the March and April bundled together before Samsung releases the update.

Sorry but this is funny the A35 5G is only a year old where did you get several years old from 🤣 and it will get updates up till Android 18 weather it's security updates is monthly or quarterly

Yeah, it's normal Samsung does quarterly updates for some models. Since it launched last year, it's still covered for a while. The Feb update is fine, and March/April will probably come together soon. Nothing to worry about.
