Brand new A15 slow charging

I have recently purchased a brand new A15. This is not fast charging at all and takes around 4 - 5 hours to charge from 50 percent. This is the second A15 I have had with this issue. Also it will stop charging at times all together. The first one had this issue straight out the box and the second after I updated to the latest softwear. I have fast charging enabled, have tried about 20 different fast charging cables etc etc. Please can anyone help.

Hello there, may I ask what kind of charger you are using ? And what is the wattage?

Hello I've have tried about 20 different charging cables and plugs including the lead that came with it and a samsung charging plug nothing works

I have ran the diagnosis test and for each charging lead it says the USB is not recognised although they are charging very slow

I totally understand the frustration. But my understanding is that Samsung doesn't package chargers with its phones. So, how many watts is the charger you are using? 15w, 25,w ,45w?
Yours sounds like 5w. Hence, it's taking forever, else, the phone is faulty and needs repkacement.

20W it fast charges my samsung work mobile thanks for the reply but I don't understand how this can happen to two phones in a row brand new out the box

Try this,
In the settings, go to
About phone > software information > build number
Keep tapping on build number until it says developer options activated
Go back to settings scroll to the very bottom to developer option search for Default USB configuration, there make sure "charging phone only" is chosen.
Then try charging again with 20w charger.

Try clearing the system cache then charge it

Changed phone within a few days happened again so had the charging port changed and it's OK now ridiculous for a brand new phone!

My Samsung A15 suddenly started charging really really slow it takes about 6 hours to charge from 40% to 100% and I have tried so many fast cables and still is the same and u have had if for about y months now
