I recently attempted to remove this for the umpteenth time on my old Samsung S6 Edge, with zero success, I have tried all sorts, from ADB, workarounds, trying every password I can, contact Samsung, but nothing works.

As an owner, it's not good, but if the device was stolen great news, as the device is probably torn down for parts.

Contact the person you got the phone from and ask them to remove their accounts and reset the phone to factory settings. That's the only way you'll be able to get access to the phone.

So I bought the S9+, set everything up on it and the next day I immediately returned it and asked for a replacement because of the defective camera. The seller approved the replacement, however, it happened that I didn't have my Samsung and Google account passwords with me, and the seller said: "It doesn't matter, we'll cancel it". So authorized resellers have FRP reset tools. They even let me verify that they actually removed my accounts on the returned cell phone- they did.
