For the last few days my Samsung A40 keeps opening random web pages when im doing anything on my phone, continuously, ive googled how to stop it but im obviously not doing something right as its still happening,

I'd probably start by clearing your browser history and cashe.
After this I'd probably then clear the phones Partition Cache
See where you go from there.
Have you recently downloaded an app or Theme. If so it maybe worthwhile clearing that in case, especially if you downloaded from a third party source
