topic Delay in opening and using phone dialler A32 in Galaxy A Series

I haven't had my A32 5G very long. When I open the phone dialer it can take as long as 15 seconds to open my recent calls and contacts and up to a further 30 seconds when I select the contact to open dialer/messages/video call. It's so frustrating. If I needed to make an emergency call it would take about a minute to do it. I've tried clearing the cache and resarting my phone. Please does anyone have any suggestions. Everything else on the phone works fine. Thanks.

A good starting point if clearing the app cache is to then clear the phones system files cache _ Clear your System File Cache vai the instructions in the Samsung Link. You may need to hook upto a computer or insert your headphones to get to the recovery menu. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/

If that does not help them put the phone into safe mode https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ to see if it's another app or theme that's affecting the phone.

If this continues in safe mode then perhaps as a last resort back up and factory reset.

If your phone has a Sd card remove it to see if it's that sd card that is causing this problem.

A Samsung Experience Store / Samsung Service Centre can take a look.
