Optische Ausgang Einstellung - Übertragung von comprimiert 5.1 möglich ?

Hallo Samsung Team, "Text auf Englisch, aber können Sie auch auf deutsch antworten".

I have a UE43MU6179(TV),

a Playstation(PS4),

5.1-Logitech-System – “The Logitech Z906 uses DTS Digital Sound/Dolby Digital decoding to process data into 5.1 surround sound. If the Z906 receives neither DTS Digital Sound nor Dolby Digital decoding data, the Z906 will not be able to decode the signal.”

So far the 5.1-Logitech-System works perfect connected directly with the PS4 through Optical-Cable.

How I tried the 5.1 sound from the PS4:

I´ve tried Netflix from PS4 with 5.1 content: OK. 5.1 sound works
I´ve tried Youtube from PS4 with 5.1 content: OK. 5.1 sound works

--> Conclusion: 5.1-Logitech-System works and Optical-Cable works.

However the Optical-Output from the TV to the 5.1-Logitech-System is never giving 5.1-Sound. Only Stereo.

How I tried the 5.1 sound from the TV:

I set the TV-Audio-Output to Optical-Cable: The output works.
I´ve tried Netflix from Samsung-Hub with 5.1 content: But No 5.1 sound, only stereo.
I´ve tried Youtube from Samsung-Hub with 5.1 content: But No 5.1 sound, only stereo.
I´ve tried PS4 via HMDI to TV with 5.1 content: But No 5.1 sound, only stereo.

--> Conclusion: TV is correct set-up, Optical-Output have no damage. But no 5.1 Sound.

I have all my devices connected to the TV: PS4, Chromecast, Computer. And I would like the TV to send the 5.1-sound via Optical cable to my 5.1-Logitech-System.

What can I change to make the Digital Output send 5.1 compressed sound ?

Have you tried to change to Audio Ouput Format setting to "Dolby Dgital" in the TV settings?

"Settings"-->"Sound"-->"Expert Settings"-->"Digital Output Audio Format"

Das freut mich zu hören.

Soweit ich weiß, wird der Ton nicht als 5.1 über das optische Kabel ausgeben, wenn der Ton vom am Fernseher angeschlossenen HDMI Geräten kommt. Hierfür bräuchte man auch eine HMDI (arc) Verbindung zu Soundanlage. Alternativ kann man auch den PC direkt an die Soundanlage anschließen. Wenn zu wenig Anschlüsse vorhanden sind, dann kann man sich einen Toslink Switch holen.

Optischer Ausgang kann doch 5.1, aber nur comprimiert.

Ich verstehe alles als wie "übersetzeten Nachrichten" , d.h. Audioformat.

PS4 kann Audioformat als DTS/DD ausgeben und das TV kann das weiter übertragen.

Chromecast kann nur DTS, d.h. ich müsste das TV in DTS-Optischer Audioausgange lassen.
S8 screen-mirroring mit den Samsung-TV hat auch 5.1 übertragen können.

Ich muss jeden einen Weg finden, meine Laptop DTS/DD durch HDMI weiter geben. Leider keine Lösung gefunden.

Ja der optische Ausgang kann 5.1 , aber das klappt nur beim internen Tuner oder bei Apps aus dem Smarthub etc. Wenn Du etwas über HDMI an den Fernseher anschließt, dann wird das Tonsignal leider nicht als 5.1 signal am optischen Ausgang ausgegeben. Ich weiß aber nicht, ob Samsung da was geändert hat, aber ich denke eher nicht.

Doch, bei mir funktioniert es einwandfrei mit meiner PS4.

Wie auf englisch geschrieben:

PS4 via HDMI zu Tv,Tv via Optischer zu Logitech.
Es müss nur die gleiche Audio-Codec bei PS4 und TV-ausgang ausgewählt werden.
