Failure to activate the license within the 60-day cooling period after installation will result in the server becoming inactive.

To avoid disruption, we strongly recommend purchasing and activating the Maintenance Service License at your earliest convenience.

Additionally, downgrading to an older version of the MagicINFO server is not possible.

Update: MagicInfo Server V9 - Update Procedure for V7, V8 and V9

Please do not try to download previous versions of MagicInfo Server as they are all outdated!

Very Important:

Please ensure you have activated a MagicINFO Maintenance Service license within the 60days cooling period after installation if you fall under Case categories 1 or 2 below.

Update Procedure:

Download the latest MagicINFO v9 software from Samsung VX.com and execute it under MagicINFO Server.

This is a cumulative update, so follow the steps below based on your current version:

Case 1: From MagicINFO 7 -> Update first to V7 (latest) -> then V8 (20.1040) -> then V9 (21.1060).
Case 2: From MagicINFO 8 -> Update first to V8 (20.1040) -> then V9 (21.1060).
Case 3: From MagicINFO 9 -> Direct update to the latest version available.

Recycler son ancien smartphone en caméra de surveillance

Introduction

Bonjour les Samuseurs, suite des Tips : « Comment recycler son ancien smartphone" cette fois nous allons utiliser notre smartphone en tant que camera de surveillance… »

Présentation du Projet

Pour ceux qui ont un NAS, dans mon cas un Synology, dans ce Tip, je vais vous expliquer comment configurer votre smartphone et votre NAS.

Matériel Nécessaire
De quel matériel avons-nous besoin pour réaliser ce montage ?

À part notre NAS et notre smartphone, vous aurez besoin éventuellement d’un support et d’un chargeur.

Effectivement, il va falloir laisser le smartphone en permanence connecté au chargeur, sinon vous risquez de ne plus avoir d’image au bout de quelques heures d’utilisation.

Applications Nécessaires

Quelle appli installer ?

Sur le NAS Synology, il va falloir installer « Surveillance Station » et « Surveillance Video extension ».

Pour le smartphone, il va falloir installer l’appli « Synology Live Cam ».

Préparation à la Configuration

C’est bon, nous sommes prêts, nous avons tous les éléments en main pour commencer la configuration.

Première configuration

Première étape : configuration de Synology Live Cam sur le smartphone.

Au démarrage, il va falloir se connecter au compte du NAS avec votre adresse ID QuickConnect/compte et mot de passe.

Jumeler et donner les autorisations d’accès à la caméra et au microphone.

Visualisation de la caméra

Ça y est, nous y sommes, la caméra apparaît dans la liste des caméras du NAS, dans l’appli Surveillance Station/Camera IP.

Afin de diffuser l’image qui est captée par le smartphone, il va falloir appuyer sur lecture de l’écran du smartphone.

Ca y est, l'état de la camera n'est plus "Deconnecté " .

Paramètres et réglages

Pour passer de la caméra arrière (par défaut) à celle d’avant, il va falloir aller dans les paramètres de l’appli. Dans cet emplacement, vous allez trouver d’autres réglages comme la résolution de la vidéo, le nombre d’images/secondes, la qualité d’image, etc.

Avant de quitter cette page, ne pas oublier de valider en appuyant sur « Effectué ».

Par défaut, le nom de la caméra est le numéro de modèle de votre smartphone « SM-***** ».

Conclusion

Voilà, votre ancien smartphone est recyclé en caméra de surveillance.
